Dennis Willetts BSc, CEng, FIET is responsible for Haymarket’s Technology Investigations portfolio, including computer and network forensics, and cases involving engineering, manufacturing and production systems. A graduate in engineering, he started his career as a civil servant in the Department of Trade’s radio investigation laboratory, subsequently heading one of BT’s research laboratories. Dennis has held a variety of senior posts in Information Technology.
He was chairman of the International Standards Committee on Data Cryptographic Techniques inGeneva, later specialising in cyber-warfare and defensive telecommunications technology. In a career change in 1997, he joined a global investigation company as director in the Europe & Middle East practice, responsible for investigating fraud and failure involving Information technology, business processes and manufacturing systems. Prior to joining Haymarket, Dennis ran a computer forensic consultancy specialising in gathering intelligence in complex multi-national investigations. Dennis is a Chartered Engineer, and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
